I'm a big girl now

Well you know when you've got it sussed - I went to the bank today to get some money for my impending trip to Tokyo - all ALONE - and managed to get the money! All without an emergency phone call to co-teacher.

In my impeccable Korean/Hangul I said "oi!" when I thought someone was pushing in ahead of me, and "en" which is Korean for Yen. The rest of the transaction was carried by writing numbers on a piece of paper. It only took 30 minutes.

I'm glad the Korean classes are now paying dividends.
