They forecast flurries yesterday and then snow last night - and this is what I woke to this morning - the REAL thing!

As I didn't hear that school was cancelled there was nothing for it but to rug up and trudge off - with the other English teacher, Jeremy, who lives nearby.
Good to see some of the locals didn't feel the need to rug up
There were hardly any students heading up the driveway to school
... and we soon discovered why - no school for students today - but school for teachers.
There were a few students that came to play in the playground anyway
By lunchtime it was decided we could go home for the rest of the day.
And when I got home you'd hardly have known it was a snowy day.
